"Surprisingly Comfortable for a Quick Ride"
I used bcycle for a short ride, i was kind of surprised by how comfortable the bike was. I wasn’t expecting much since it was just a quick trip and those shared bikes can sometimes feel a little rough, but the seat was actually fine and the ride felt smooth the whole time. I didn’t get off feeling sore or like I had been bouncing around the entire way, which I really appreciated. It was easy to use, got me where I needed to go, and I didn’t have any issues. Simple experience, but in a good way

The app feels safe overall, which is reassuring, but the security side is kind of hit or miss. Some things seem clear enough, while other parts could definitely be explained better. I’d feel more confident using it if the app made its safety features easier to understand.

"Checkout was kind of a mess"
I was trying to check out my rental, but the checkout page just kept looping over and over. I was about ready to give up, and then somehow I got charged anyway. Frustrating and just not a great experience...

"Good coverage where I need it"
Ive had good coverage around my usual routes, so I dont really have any complaints. It works fine for my day to day driving.

"Works okay, but the bikes need more upkeep"
I’ve used BCycle a few times and overall it’s been fine for getting around, but the bike condition is hit or miss. One bike had really squeaky brakes, and another had a loose seat, which didn’t feel great. It still got me where I needed to go, but I really wish they’d check and maintain the bikes more often. If it keeps being this inconsistent, I’d probably start looking for another option.

"Pretty easy to use so far"
I’ve used BCycle a few times now, and somehow there have always been open docks when I needed one. Maybe I’ve just been lucky and I’m overestimating how reliable it is, but so far it’s made parking the bike way less annoying than I expected.

"At first, I was annoyed..."
At first, I was annoyed because my bike wasn’t locking properly and I ended up getting charged extra. Not the best first impression. But I reached out to support and they handled it way quicker than I expected. The refund came through, and the person helping me was friendly about it too. Started off frustrating, but ended up being a good experience overall.

"They Fixed My Account Issue Fast"
I had a small problem with my account and didn’t expect much when I reached out to support. But they got back to me quickly and, to my relief, actually fixed it without making me waste my time going back and forth. I really appreciate when things are handled smoothly for me, and this was one of those times. Definitely 5 stars from me

"Stations are empty too often"
I keep running into empty stations way more often than I should, and it’s frustrating. What makes it worse is that there’s no clear info on what I’m supposed to do next when it happens, so I’m just left standing there trying to figure it out

I accidentally booked the wrong pass and expected the refund process to turn into a whole ordeal. I emailed support, and they replied quicker than I thought they would, clearly explaining what they needed from me.
The money was back on my card within a few days, with no arguing, no runaround, and no sneaky hoops to jump through. It felt like they handled it in a fair and honest way, which matters to me. I’d definitely use them again

"Super Convenient Location"
There were stations all over the place nearby, which made getting around really easy. after this experience, I feel like places in this area are probably great for anyone relying on public transport

I used a Bcycle e-bike for a handful of short trips around town, and the battery was a bit better than I expected. At first I kept checking it, but after a while I kind of stopped worrying because it still seemed to have plenty left. The bike didn’t really feel weak even toward the end of my ride, which was nice. Unlocking it and getting going was easy too. Overall, I was happy with it, mostly because I didn’t have to think too much about charging or switching bikes.

"Fair Pricing, but Not Perfect"
They charged me the right amount, which I definitely appreciated. It’s nice not having to deal with surprise fees or billing issues. That said, the overall experience was just okay, nothing really stood out beyond the pricing being fair.

The bike I got was really clean, and the brakes feels good too. I didn’t have any issues riding it, and the maintenance seems like it’s been kept up well.

"I got the membership thinking it would save…"
I got the membership thinking it would save me money, but the fees still add up quickly. The bikes are fine, but overall it just doesn’t feel like a great value.

"Bike was okay, but returning it made me lose trust"
The bike itself was fine, no real complaints there. But returning it was way more stressful than it should’ve been. The dock didn’t lock right away, and I had to try a few times before it finally went through. I was worried I’d get charged extra for something that wasn’t my fault. It worked out in the end, but it definitely made me lose some trust in the system
